Chief Operating Officer

JB Rodgers, CFA, is the Chief Operating Officer of Connor Capital SB. JB has worked in the investment industry for over three decades. He focused on developing proprietary operational procedures and risk tools for both liquid and private equity portfolios. He designed and implemented risk procedures, compliance guideline monitoring, return attribution systems, cash management procedures and other related operational functions.  JB also served as a portfolio manager and economic analyst. He has experience with a wide array of investment products including real estate, liquid equities, government bonds, corporate bonds, mortgage-backed securities, asset-backed securities, municipal bonds, non-dollar securities, money market instruments and derivative products. JB obtained his MS in Financial Mathematics from the University of Chicago in 2001, his MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business in 1989 and his BA in Economics from Wesleyan University in 1985.
